A little of everything!

Jax had a checkup at the ENT a few weeks ago. The plan is that he will have surgery on his ear in April. He still has a hole in his ear from his tube, and it really causes problem for him while he's swimming and taking a bath. His earplug helps for swimming, but if the earplug gets bumped at all, water gets in his ear, and it is so painful.

Brave boy!

He found his doctor's picture in the elevator. :)

Jordyn had a potato project for school to complete. She decided she wanted to create a Potato Playground! It turned out pretty cute!

Justin got to join Jordyn for "Potato Day" at school ...

We just switched to a new dentist, and we love them - and it's so much closer to our house!

I guess I didn't get a picture of Jordyn ... but once again, all 3 were cavity free! Woohoo!

Just a little weight lifting at Grandpa and Grandma's house!

Carving Pumpkins

Our kids were excited to carve pumpkins again this year!
(I carved one too ... I just never quite make it in the pictures - ha!)

We had lots of patterns the kids could pick from, but they all decided to draw their own picture!

Jax drew this elaborate face and then asked Justin to get to work on it! Ha!

Jayla's "boo" ... Jaxon's face ... Jordyn's heart face ... and my UNI pumpkin ...

The girls did theirs almost all by themselves! Jax even did some of his cutting too!

Celebrating Birthdays!

I think we celebrated this girl the whole month of October. Ha! :) We celebrated with my family several weeks before her birthday ... with Justin's family the weekend before her birthday ... our family the day of her birthday ... and her friends the weekend after her birthday!

35 & 9

Justin and Jordyn celebrated their birthdays a couple of weeks ago!

I still can't believe this girl is 9!

We love that these two get to share their birthday!

These two voted on Buffalo Wild Wings for supper to celebrate!

Surprising my dad!

My dad turned 60 in October! We were all able to surprise him and meet him and my mom for lunch in Okoboji!

I sure miss this little one!!

And these two as well!

E kind of liked her Uncle Justin!

And I think it's safe to say he kind of liked her too!

We gave this to frame to my dad for his birthday ... 60 things we love about you. It is so fun to read everything that we all wrote down. My sister typed it up for us.
(and I'm still laughing at one of Jordyn's ... "You introduced me to honey mustard."

Good-byes aren't fun ... unless they are with Uncle Eric, because he makes them so silly!
