Jaxon is another month older, and I am actually on time with his monthly update!
Some silly faces ...
... weighs 36 pounds and is 36 inches tall.
... wears size 5 diapers, 2t-4t clothes and size 8 shoe.
... loves to talk and repeats everything he hears on TV or that we say. We just love his sweet voice! He is not speaking in full sentences yet like the girls did at this age, but he will put together 4-6 word phrases. (like "Daddy home. Beat us home." ... each day the girls ask if Daddy beat us home from school, so on our way home the other day Jax thought Daddy would beat us home.)
... has a job to do every day ... we taught him how to unlatch Gizmo's kennel, so each day when we get home from school, he has to go let Gizmo out of his kennel. Jax gets so proud of himself each day.
... enjoys reading books. He can sit for a few minutes to read books, but then he's up and running/destroying shortly after a book is done.
... still is not sleeping well ... unless he's sleeping on the couch. He sleeps a hundred times better when he's on the couch. Justin said we should move a couch to his room!
... is loving everything about Christmas ... he gets so excited about anything that has a Christmas tree, Christmas lights, Santa, reindeer ... and he loves Jingle Bells. We listen to it about 10 times daily in the van ... I'm about ready to throw that CD out the window! (If you read some of my December posts in previous years, I'm pretty sure I said the same thing about that CD those years too.) He will be super excited when Elfie, our elf returns!
... loves to build with legos. This is one thing (and about the only thing right now) that can keep him entertained for more than 20 minutes. He loves to build towers or play with the lego school bus he has. I get tired of our huge tote of legos dumped all over the house, but if it keeps him entertained for a little while, it's worth it!
... is the worst shopper! He runs (SPRINTS) through every aisle in a store. We can't keep him in a cart or a stroller ... shopping right now is close to a nightmare. :)
... makes me exhausted just thinking about him ... yet I start to laugh out loud when I think of the funny things he does or says each day. Our life with this little boy is insanely crazy most days, but I wouldn't trade it ... his smile, laughter and love (and his naughtiness) are a blessing to us!
**One last story ... because I don't want to forget it. :) Jayla fell down two stairs and hurt her bottom. While I was running to her to help her, Jax took off sprinting up the stairs. I thought he had maybe pushed her and he went to hide because he knew he was in trouble. He came running down the steps a few seconds later carrying the bottle of baby powder. He knew Jayla hurt her bottom and in his mind, that meant that baby powder would take care of her owie. :) He had not pushed her down the steps. My heart just melted when he did this for her (even thought powder wouldn't help this owie). :)
