I Love Saturday!

We are having a great weekend! I have lots of pictures to share from today. Jordyn smiled and giggled the entire day, so I captured about every moment. :) We dressed Jordyn up in a pretty cute outfit today - the sweater and jeans were from Justin's Uncle Steve, Aunt Tracy, and their family. She loved the silk belt - of course she did manage to get it her mouth a few times too. :)
Snuggling with Daddy this morning. :)

Safe in Daddy's arms!

Justin's grandma and his Aunt Sherri stopped by today. We love having visitors, and it had been a little while since we had seen Aunt Sherri. Jordyn got to snuggle and read with her ... and believe it or not, Jordyn wanted to read her Elmo book. :)

Jordyn took 2 really long naps today, which gave us time to rest and do a little cleaning. After her second nap and after she ate, we headed out to do a few errands. One of the places we stopped was Barnes and Noble. Justin and I couldn't really find any books we were totally interested in today, so we shopped for Jordyn instead. How cute is this board book that we got her?

I just had to buy this book when I saw it ...

Jordyn is TOTALLY into chewing on her books - in fact, the girls at daycare told me the other day that they wanted to read with Jordyn, but she just kept putting the book in her mouth, and cried if they took it away ... so they just let her chew. :) This book is super cute - it has two teething corners on it. The story is just so cute!

After shopping, we came home ... picked up the mail ... only to find another book for Jordyn! Jordyn gets a new book every month in the mail from a wonderful program through United Way. I don't know if this is just a Sioux Falls thing or a national thing, but you can sign your child up for free books until they begin school. United Way partners with Dolly Pardon's Imagination Library. The books that we have received have been wonderful! They are all board books or hard cover books. It's a great program! Today she received Dimity Duck.

After shopping, Justin decided Jordyn needed to be in comfy clothes ...

We tried to get a family picture, but we missed Jordyn's smile by about a second each time ... at least she knew to look at the camera, right? (How could she not know to look at the camera ... after the thousands of pictures I have taken of her?!)

I don't remember the last time we had a picture of just the two of us! Oh wait, it was October 30 - the morning that I was induced!

Being silly!

We decided to take a walk tonight ... had Jordyn already to go ... and she decided to play peek-a-boo!

This is how our night is ending ... these two love each other!

I love Saturdays ... I love getting to spend so much time with Justin and Jordyn ... I love family time! We hope your day has been as wonderful as ours!

Happy Mother's Day (tomorrow) to the moms who are reading this!
